Honourable Prime Minister,

On behalf of the citizens of Bangladesh and sympathisers, living in Singapore and Malaysia, 1 extend our heartiest congratulations to the Government of Bangladesh for the superb leadership in liberating our country from the brutal Pakistani regime. Our greatest felicitations to our valiant Mukti Bahini for their supreme sacrifices for our beloved motherland.

Our great joy at this auspicious moment has been marred by the shocking news of the butchery of more than a hundred intellectuals of our country by the sub-human Pak Military authority. This latest inhuman action has steeled our determination to demand proper action against the culprits. We, hereby, fully back the call by a great friend of our cause, Rt. Hon’ble John Stonehouse, M.P. in his call for a Nuremberg type trial of all the war criminals including those who are outside Bangladesh.

While we fully support the stand taken by your Government that full protection will be extended to all foreign nationals we, hereby demand that nobody be allowed to escape the punishment under any pretext.

Our heartfelt sympathies for the berieved families and friends of all the Shahids who lost their lives in the liberation struggle. We, hereby, place our services at the disposal of the Government of Bangladesh.
