বিজয়ের দিনে তোমাদের যেন না ভুলি
আজকের বিজয়ের দিনে সংগ্রামের নোটবুক স্মরণ করছে সকল মা-বোনদের। মুক্তিযুদ্ধে যাদের অবদান সবচেয়ে বেশী। শুধু বীরসন্তানের জননী হিসেবে নয় – যুদ্ধের ময়দানেও তাঁরা।

ভিডিওটি পারলে নতুন প্রজন্মের সব মেয়েকে দেখাতাম। ওদেরকে ছোট করতে নয়। উৎসাহ দিতে। কেমন করে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় আমাদের মায়েরা-বোনেরা ট্রেনিং নিয়েছে, যুদ্ধের ময়দানে কাজ করেছে, এমনকি গেরিলা যুদ্ধের নেতৃত্বও দিয়েছে। একথা সত্য যে এখনও প্রতিটা মেয়ের মনের গহীনে বাস করে একটি স্বাধীন সাহসী অদম্য মন। ওদের ইচ্ছেগুলো খরস্রোতা নদীর মত প্রবাহমান। অথচ দিঘীর জলের মত শান্ত আজ। প্রাণের উচ্ছলতায় ওরা একাত্তরের মহীয়সী নারীদের চেয়ে কম নয়। তথাপি কোন এক দীর্ঘ চক্রান্তে রুগ্ন সংস্কৃতির মোহে পড়ে বুকের মধ্যে আকাশের চেয়ে বিশালতা নিয়েও সমাজের রুক্ষতায় অদৃশ্য এক জালে বাধা পড়ে আছে যেন। তোমাদের ছাড়া বাংলা মা আজ অর্ধমৃত। কোন এক সুন্দর সকালে তোমরা দেশকে পাল্টে দেবে সেই স্বপ্নে আজও বাংলার আকাশ-বাতাসে ভেসে বেড়ায় ৩০ লক্ষ শহীদের আত্মা।
Just before winter, during the month of October, 1971, this video was prepared from a guerrilla training camp from India in which the Bengali women and girls were taking training on various tactics that would be very necessary in the battle field. We wish we could show this video to every girl of this generation – not to create a fume of insult – rather firing up their hidden boldness lying deep into their heart which they forgot to show up now-a-days due to a tumbledown culture. We believe that one fine day our girls will unchain them and revive the motherland which is half-dead without them. And that would be the best tribute to the soul of the 3 million martyrs – the perfect accomplishment of the liberation war spirit.
