Bank may resume aid to Pakistan
KARACHI JUNE 17— The Chairman of the Aid to Pakistan Club. Mr. I. P. M Cargill, concluded his discussion with Pakistan officials and returned to Paris yesterday to submit a report to the World Bank, says AP.
Before departure he told newsmen that he was quite optimistic of World Bank assistance to Pakistan resuming again”.
He said: “There has been complete understanding between myself and Pakistan officials over Pakistani present economic situation and the problems faced by this country”
He said: “The World Bank even insisted on devaluation of Pakistan currency nor world it insist in future.”
