- Prime Minister Tajuddin Ahmad says that those who have intentional and evident participation in the genocide will be prosecuted. They will not get any mercy, he adds. Those who however were compelled to do such acts under pressure they will be spared.
- Returning of Bangladeshi refugees will commence shortly, says CS Kahlon, rehabilitation secretary of India. They will be given rations for two weeks, he added. He also says that, 1,30,000 Bangladeshis has returned already on foot.
