- Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Yugoslavia President Joshef Tito sit in a meeting in New Delhi and discussed Bangladesh issue.
- An ambush team of freedom fighters attack patrolling Pakistan military in Comilla’s Ramzanpur. 10 Pakistani soldiers and 18 Razakars are killed in about half-an-hour of gunfight. One freedom fighter is wounded.
- Muktibahini fighters attack Razakar settlements in 23 points of Sylhet, Comilla, Jessore, Mymensingh and Rangpur. Some hundreds of Razakars are captured and a huge cache of arms and ammunition seized.
- Muktibahini fighters ambush Pakistan military men in Dashatina on Baira sub-sector under sector 8. Three Pakistani military men are killed and two Razakars injured. Freedom fighters returned unharmed.
- A team of freedom fighters attack Pakistan military in Purbadevpur under sector 1. One freedom fighter is critically injured.
- Governor Dr AM Malik praises Razakars for their contribution in a rally held in Mymensingh Circuit House.
- East Pakistan Finance Minister Abul Quashem, in a programme in Chittagong Muslim Institute, says that a total of 55,000 trained and armed Razakars are operating in the country.
