- A team of 50 freedom fighters led by Subedar Abdul Wahab and Subedar Shamsul Haque attack on the position of Pakistan raiders and kill 16 Pakistani soldiers including a captain, 29 Razakar members. Freedom fighters capture seven boats loading goods and huge arms from the spot.
- Pakistan raiders attack Muktibahini camp near Sonapur and Gopalpur. A bloody clash take place after the freedom fighters retaliated with firearms. 40 Pakistani raiders are killed while a freedom fighter sacrificed his life in the battle.
- Freedom fighters attack Pakistan militia when they came under the range of ambush at Chaddhagram of Laksam and kill 20 soldiers and wound many others.
- Pakistan soldiers attack Araihajar Police Station and capture all the arms. The guard of the police camp died in the attack.
