- An ambush squad of freedom fighters kills 20 Pakistani troops destroying a truck on Sonagaji road by setting an anti-tank mine. 40 Pakistan soldiers wounded.
- Subedar Mobassarul Hossain and his associates attack Pakistani camp in Charghat thana and kill all of the Pakistan soldiers.
- Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Julfikar Ali Bhutto says, “People want that power be handed over to his party. His party is not only majority party in Pakistan but also in National Council.”
