- Muktibahini kill six Pakistani soldiers ambushing a vehicle at Gazipur railway bridge in the north of Comilla.
- A guerilla team of Muktibahini attacks the Pakistan troops near Narsingdi. The Pakistan raiders flee the scene after an hour-ling battle.
- East Pakistan military government cancels Ansar section 1948 and circulates ‘Razakar section 1971’.
