- An ambush team of Muktibahini attacks a Pakistani patrol team at place, one mile north of Comilla, and kills 11 Pakistan raiders and injured 3 others. The fighters also seize arms.
- Bir Shreshtha Flayer Flight Lt Motiur Rahman, instructor of Masrur Air Camp in Karachi, sacrifices his life when his T-33 plane of Pakistan air force crashes on his way to Bangladesh to join Liberation War. He born in November 29, 1942 at Ramnagar village in Raipur thana.
- Freedom fighters led by Masud Hossain Alamgir Nobel attack a launch of Pakistan soldiers in Jumana near Aolakandi village in Sariakandi and kill all the troops damaging the launch.
- Freedom fighters free Chilmari of Kurigram after five day-night bloody battle. Enthusiast people in groups come to visit to witness more than a hundred bodies of Pakistan raiders.
