  • A large convoy of Pakistani soldiers is marching towards Brhamanpara on the bank of Shalda river. Three boats boarding troops are also accompanied the soldiers through the river. Freedom fighters ambush the Pakistani convoy and kill 18.
  • A freedom fighter team launches attack on Sharda police camp in Rajshahi but all the freedom fighters except one are kill in retaliation from Pakistani soldiers.
  • Captain Zia of Sundarbans camp of Muktibahini calls a conference. In the conference, he forms separate teams to attack four police stations in Barisal. Subedar Aziz and Latif to lead 20 member squad to attack Bhandaria police station while Commander Habib-led 20-member squad for Kaukhali police station, Subedar Rustam-led 20-member squad for Rajapur police station and Captain Zia-led 50-member squad for Mathbaria station.
  • Eight East Bengal regiment fighters kill four Pakistani troops attacking their position near Chilmari of Kurigram. Others Pakistan militia flee the scene.
  • A freedom fighter dies in a fierce battle with Pakistan raiders at a place between Bhatkura and Payla in Tangail. Pakistan militia detain freedom fighter Biman Bihar Das.
  • Pakistani raiders launch a mass killing and rampage in Sylhet. Pakistani soldiers from Baniachang thana kill 87 villagers attacking Makalkandi village and shoot more several hundred people. They loot the whole the village. The raiders also kill five people in the nearby Harun village.
