- Freedom fighters of Company-A of Fourth Bengal attack the Sharda River camp of Pakistani soldiers. Eight Pakistan soldiers are killed and seven injured during one and a half hour long war.
- An ambush team of freedom fighters attack a convoy of Pakistan army while heading towards Ashiqkati from Chandpur that left 10 Pakistan soldiers dead and 25 injured.
- Muktibahini ambush a Pakistan camp, three mile off Ashiqkati, and kill three soldiers and wound five others. 12 more Pakistan soldiers are killed and 10 injured when they tried to retaliate.
