- A company of Captain Gaffar and First Field Regiment recover huge arms after attacking a Pakistani camp at Bandabhag Bazar in Comilla. At least 60 to 70 Pakistan soldiers sustain injuries during the attack.
- Pakistan soldiers retreat as they attack Muktibahini camp in Shalda river in face of strong resistance by the freedom fighters of A Company of Fourth Bengal led by Major Salek. Many Pakistan army men are injured during the attack around 8:00pm.
- Pakistan soldiers attack Dimolishan camp of freedom fighters in Bausia Bridge area of Narayanganj, leaving three guerillas injured.
- Two Pakistan troops are killed when a team of freedom fighters led by Mayna Mia attack a Pakistani camp at Shabadpur Railway Staton of Sylhet.
- Peoples Party Chief Zulfikar Ali Bhutto returns from Tehran suddenly cancelling his Kabul visit.
- Convention Muslim League President Fazlul Quader Chowdhury, in a press briefing at Lahore, says the situation of East Bengal is quite stable but the India brokers are active there.
- Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Mia Tofayel addressing a rally says the devastating attack launched before March 25 in the name of restoring the rights of Bangalis as a conspiracy to destroy Pakistan.
