- A platoon of freedom fighters led by Habildar Matin attack a team of Pakistan Army on their way from Laxmipur to Kalir Bazar. A number of Pakistan soldiers are injured in the assault. Later on, Pakistan soldiers burnt down Kalir Bazar and escaped.
- A band of freedom fighters led by Commander Mahbub rack Talma Bridge in Panchagarh and attack on Pakistan agent Shamsu Member’s house. Three Pakistan agents are killed in this attack.
- Sarder Sharan Singh, Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs and special envoy of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, has a discussion regarding Bangladesh crisis with President Tito in Belgrade.
