June 24, 1971
- Two platoon soldiers led by Lt Mahbub infiltrate Pakistan army base at Bibibazar, in the east of Comilla and ambush enemy forces. 21 Pakistan soldiers are killed and 7 are injured in this assault.
- Two Companies of Pakistan Army from Shalda River base and T Ali’s house in Kosba and meet near Kayempur. The assault Mondobhag base of the Muktibahini with mortars, machine guns and canons. After two hours of battle the Pakistan forces are forced to retreat and they left their Kayempur position and returned to main base at Shalda River. 24 Pakistan soldiers are killed in this battle.
