- Freedom fighters ambush two Pakistan Army cars on Bijoypur Bridge in Comilla. Fierce gunfight took place between the two groups. 8 Pakistan soldiers are killed in the fight and the two cars are completely destroyed.
- A band of soldiers from Noakhali Guerilla Headquarters ambush two Pakistan Army trucks at a place called Bogadiya on Feni- Noakhali Road. 12 Pakistan soldiers are killed and the two trucks are completely destroyed in the ambush.
