- A platoon soldiers of Muktibahini ambush Pakistan soldiers on C&B road near Shaldah River in Comilla. 9 Pakistan soldiers are killed and a jeep and a truck are destroyed in this ambush.
- A fierce conflict breaks out between Muktibahini and Pakistan army in Pateshwari. 14 freedom fighters became martyrs in this conflict owing to betrayal of an unknown maulana.
