- With mortars and a platoon soldiers, Captain Oli attacks Chandgazi base of Pakistan army. Pakistan soldiers are forced to leave Chandgazi against severe assault by the Muktibahini.
- Pakistan army attack Sutarkandi base of Muktibahini in Sylhet. Although soldiers in Muktibahini are less in numbers, they damaged the Pakistan forces significantly. But later, Pakistan forces attacked and ammunitions of freedom fighters got exhausted, owing to which they are forced to leave their base. 39 Pakistan soldiers are killed in this conflict and 2 are held by the freedom fighters. On the other hand, 2 freedom fighters are held by the Pakistan army and a few are injured.
