- A company of Pakistan soldiers are ambushed on their way from Mukudapur in Sylhet to Azampur at a place called Narshinger in Comilla. 63 Pakistan soldiers are killed in this ambush.
- Freedom fighters make fierce attack on Pakistan forces at Mirganj in Comilla. Pakistan soldiers left their weapons and escaped in panic against the firing by the freedom fighters. They had several casualties. Freedom fighters took possession of ample weapons and ammunitions in this conflict.
