- Freedom fighters led by Captain Nazmul Huda confront Pakistan forces at Chougacha and Masaliya in Jessore. 8 Pakistan soldiers killed in the conflict. On the other hand, two valiant freedom fighters became martyrs.
- In Teliapara, a company of Pakistan soldiers attack the main base of Muktibahini. They incur heavy losses against counter attack by the freedom fighters and are forced to retreat.
