- In a radio broadcast on the Shadhin Bangla, Tajuddin Ahmed requests the neighboring country to recognize independent Bangladesh and also to help with arms support unconditionally.
- Soviet Prime Minister Alexy Kessigin in a message to Yahya Khan urges him to immediately stop the bloodshed and Mass murder in country’s East
- Early Morning in Dhaka city saw an attack between the Mukti Bahini on security rounds and Pakistani army in Mirpur and Mohammadpur. In the following gun fight 7 guerilla are martyred.
