- The temporary president of Bangladesh Government Syed Nazrul Islam appoints Justice Abu Saeed Chowdhury as the special representative of the Bangladesh Diplomatic mission in foreign countries
- One company of army men of the Bengal Regiment under the command of Major Imamuzzaman quit Laksham and moves to Mia Bazaar in Comilla and take defence there
- 20 freedom fighters attacked one group of Pakistan military in Jessore, Nabharon ghaati. This resulted in the death of 10 Pakistan military and left 15 injured.
