- Pakistani Military attacks Mukti Bahini quarters in Hili. In the counter attack by Mukti Bahini Pakistan Militaryare forced to retreat. In this attack, 6 brave freedom fighters are martyred.
- Governor and Marshall Law administrator Lieutenant General Tikka Khan, orders Awami league leader Tajuddin Ahmed, S. Nazrul Islam, Abdul Mannan, Tofayel Ahmed and the People’s Editor Abidur Rahman to be present at the Military court at 8 am in 26th April.
