• With the member’s of Awami League Shwecchashebok Bahini, early in the morning the Bangladesh flag is hoisted in Bangabandhu’s Residence and “Joy Bangla, Banglar Joy” is sung.
• On “Pakistan Day” apart from President’s residence and Army offices, nowhere else are the Pakistani flag hoisted. Bangabandhu urged for this day to be celebrated as ‘Historic Lahore Resolution Day’ and also announced a government holiday on that day.
• On the 22nd day of the non-cooperation movement, freedom crazed Bangladeshi’s marched from morning to night with the Bangladeshi Flag in hand towards Bangabandhu’s Residence.
• On this day, Independent Bangladesh’s Central Student Agitation committee and Central Workers Agitation committee observed “Protirod Dibosh”.
