E. Bengal Programmes To Get USAID Support
NEW DELHI, Sep. 9 The U. S. Agency for International Development will give major support to the resettlement and rehabilitation programmes in East Bengal, according to the agency’s director, Mr. John Hannah, says UNI.
Radio Pakistan quoting Mr. Hannah’s address to the U. S. Senate Appropriation’s Committee would be met from the special authorization of $100 (Rs. 75 crores) provided for the purpose. Mr. Hannah said that a further request for more mon-y would be made.
