Mujib & others visit tornado affected areas
Awami League chief Sheikh Mujibur Rahman accompanied by other Awami League leaders yesterday afternoon visited the tornado affected areas of Tarabo, Demra, Rampura, Bashabu and a part of Mutail, reports PPI.
The Awami League leaders distributed foodstuffs to the tornado victims.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman launched a rescue operation with his party workers at Demra, the area, worst affected.
He personally supervised the rescue and relief operation since early in the morning.
Mr. Mahmud Ali, of PDM, Khwaja Khairuddin, former MNA Mr. Mahmudunnabi Chowdhury, former Provincial Minister Mr. Sultan Ahmed, former MPA and Mr. Nurullah yesterday visited the tornado affected areas of Dacca city and Demra.
