Mujib sees his ailing mother
DACCA, Oct 22: Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, principal accused in the Agartala Conspiracy Case was taken by military authorities to Gopalganj (Faridpur) to see his ailing mother during the last week- end.
Sheikh Mujib was not present in the court yesterday when it resumed hearing after week-end recess. He was present in the court today.
Last week the defence counsel had made a Prayer to the court requesting for release of Sheikh Mujib on parole to see his ailing mother.
The court had forwarded the application to the military authorities without Chief Prosecution Counsel. Mr. Manzur Qadir, had then told the court that he would look into it. -APP.
