EPSL demands: Release Sk. Mujib on parole

A meeting of the Central Committee of the East Pakistan Students League held on October 18 at the EPSL office under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdur Rouf demanded the immediate release of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on parole to see his ailing mother.
The meeting condoled the deaths of Shamsul Haq, General Secretary, Sylhet unit of EPSL, Rafiqul Islam, an eminent party leader and Maulana Akram Khan the vateran politician and journalist.
The meeting also condoled the deaths of the flood victims of East Pakistan.
The meeting bitterly condemned the huge expenditure in the celebration of the so-called Decade of Reforms and termed it as “the decade of oppression.”
The two-day meeting was attended by the representatives from almost all districts and sub-divisions of the province.
