Sheikh Mujib condoles Akram Khan’s death

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, President of the East Pakistan Awami League has mourned the ‘unfortunate demise’ of Maulana Mohammad Akram Khan, reports PPI.
In a telegram sent from the Dacca Cantonment where he along with 34 others is being tried in the case State versus Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and others the Awami League chief said that he was deeply shocked and grieved to learn the unfortunate demise of ‘our great leader’ Maulana Mohammed Akam Khan.
The telegram which was sent to Mr. Kamrul Anam Khan son of the late Maulana on Tuesday also contained his prayer to Allah for the peace of the departed soul and condolence to the members of the bereaved family.
The telegram reads: ‘Deeply shocked and grieved to learn the unfortunate demise of our great leader Maulana Mohammad Akram Khan’.
“Kindly accept my heartfelt condolences. Pray to Allah for the peace of departed soul”.
