Judgment in Sk. Mujib’s Paltan case delayed

The delivery of judgment in a case against Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on charge of sedition was adjourn on Wednesday for the third time, because the accused was not present before the court. The date of the adjournment could not be known on the day.
Additional Deputy magistrate, Mr. M. S. Khan concluded the hearing in the case in the early part of January inside Dacca Central Jail as in some other cases against the accused in the recent past.
In this case Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had been charged that he had delivered a speech at Paltan Maidan on March 29, 1964 and it had spread or tended to spread sedition.
