AL reiterates faith in six-points
The three-day meeting of the East Pakistan Awami League Working Committee has reiterated its faith in the six-point programme as the ‘only solution of country’s problems and basis for removal of economic disparity between the two wings of the country’, reports PPA.
The meeting which concluded Monday night, in a resolution directed its members to continue campaign for the realisation of the six-point demands by way of public meetings, processions, demonstrations, leaflets, posters and workers’ conferences until success.
In another resolution, the meeting urged the Government to immediately release all political prisoners detained without trial including Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Mr. Tajuddin Ahmed and other Awami Leaguers.
