Sedition charge
Mujib ordered to be produced before court

The Additional District Magistrate Dacca, issued orders on the lawyer sureties of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to produce him before the Court on February 27 in connection with a sedition charge under Section 124A of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The charge against Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is that he had delivered a speech at Outer Stadium on March 29, 1964 and it came under the purview of sedition. Syed Mannan Baksh, S. P., Dacca, is the complainant in the case.
Advocate Mr. Mohammadullah, who received the order has replied that the accused is now in detention under DPR and as such is not within his power for production before the Court.
