Mujib’s Birthday Observed
The forty-seventh birth anniversary of Sheikh Mujibar Rahman, President, East Pakistan Awami League now under detention was observed here yesterday in a befitting manner, reports PPA. A milad-e-mahfil was held at the Awami League office at Purana Paltan under the auspices of the City Awami League on the occasion.
Shah Azizur Rahman MNA and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Mr. A. Zahiruddin, Gerneral Secretary, Pakistan Awami League were among those who attended the milad.
The leaders offered ‘munajat’ for a long life of Sheikh Saheb.
