Mujibur Rahman’s case hearing
DACCA, Aug 9: Five witnesses were examined yesterday in the case against Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, President of the East Pakistan Awami League who is being tried in the Dacca Central Jail.
Mr Afsaruddin Ahmed, Magistrate First Class is holding the trial.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been charged under Section 47 of the Defence of Pakistan Rules for allegedly delivering a speech prejudicial to the State.
The hearing has been adjourned till September 10. —APP.
