Mujib’s Arrest Criticised

The Dacca District Awami League Working Committee at its meeting held here yesterday criticised the arrests of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other Awami League leaders.
The meeting presided over by Mr. Maizuddin, Advocate, expressed its grave concern over the flood situation and urged the Government to provide sufficient relief to the affected people.
The meeting also expressed its concern at the rise in the prices of commodities. It called upon the Awami League workers to speed up the organisational work for the realisation of six-point programme.
