Mujib’s Release Urged

A meeting of the workers of the East Pakistan Awami League Tejgaon East and West unit was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Mr. M. Razzaque.
The meeting, Which was addressed by a number of speakers demanded the release of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other political prisoners. The meeting also demanded the lifting of state of emergency and introduction of statatory rationing throughout the province. The meeting also lent full support to the party’s call for hartal on June 7.
Meanwhile in another meeting at Keraniganj under the auspices of the local Awami League unit similar demands were made.
