Medical check-up for Mujibur Rahman
DACCA, May 15: Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, President of the East Pkistan Awami League who is under detention in the Dacca Central Jail under D.P.R., has been transferred to the jail hospital “for medical check-up”, PPA learnt here tonight.
The sources said that “his health is perfectly well”.
Meanwhile, a Press release of the East Pakistan Awami League tonight said that Mr. Mujib “is reported to be seriously ill”. It further said that he was lying in the jail hospital. –PPA.
