Mujib’s 6-point plan condemned
SUKKUR, April 30: Mir Riyasat Ali President, District Muslim League, yesterday condemned the six-point formula of Mr. Mujibur Rahman and said these points were meant to weaken the country. Nothing is more important to the nation than unity, sovereignty, solidarity, and stability of Pakistan, he emphasised.
He said no country could achieve these objectives unless its people themselves as one in every respect and in every sphere of life. To achieve this, he said, the nation had given the verdict in favour of the presidential form of Government.
This system, he said, was “meaningless without unitary form of government in which the Central Cabinet would be headed by the President and both the Wings would be the administrative units headed by Governors. —PPA.
