Mujib arrested and bailed out
JESSORE, April 18: The President of the East Pakistan Awami League, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman; who was arrested in Jessore early this morning, was later released on bail. He was arrested from residence of Mr Masihur Rahman advocate.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was arrested on charge of violating a section of Defence of Pakistan Rules. A case has been registered against him in the Ramna Thana according to police. – APP
