Mujib presses for accepting 6 points
KHULNA, April 19: Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, President of East Pakistan Awami League, pressed here today for the implementation of his 6-point programme which he described as “the only solution for the well being of the people of East Pakistan.”
The Awami League President, who was addressing a public meeting at the local municipal park, said the people had accepted it.
He said, “his party will not rest till the six points are realised.”
The meeting was addressed, amongst others, by Mr Mizanur Rahman Choudhury, MNA; and Mr Tajuddin Ahmad, Generall Secretary of the Provicial Awami League. It was presided over by Mr Mominuddin Ahmad. – APP.
