Mujib’s plan aims at weakening Pakistan, says Baqi Mr Baqi

Baluch, a prominent Awami League leader yesterday said that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s six-point programme bound to weaken Pakistan and therefore, it was a matter of equal concern to the people of both the Provinces.
In a Press statement, the also expressed surprise over the statement of Mr Abdul Monem Khan Governor of East Pakistan, of the Issue.
He felt that the Government party was giving “undue importance to a narrow-minded hate campaign of the chief worker of the East Pakistan Provincial Awami League.”
Mr Baluch further said that the Governor of East Pakistan has never condemned the six-point programme emphatically in any of his statements or speeches. The Governor, he said, is trying to connect these six-points with the 21-point programme of 1954 and condemns some of the opposition leaders for not fulfilling their pledges in 1954. —PPA.
