Ispahani slates 6-point programme
KARACHI, March 21: Mr. M.A.H. Ispahani, a former Central Minister and diplomat, said in Karachi on Monday that the Awami League leader Sheikh Mujibar Rahman’s six-point programme on changes in Pakistan’s constitutional structure was “fraught with grave danger and aims at the disintegratiion of our beloved country,” reports APP.
Mr. Ispahani, who was a member of the Working Committee of the All-India Muslim League under the Quaid-e-Azam said: “To criticise the Government in power and its policy is no crime, much less treason. But to work for the disintegration of our country is something vastly different which no patriotic Pakistani can ever countenance”.
“Consider is the bounden duty of every sensible and patriotic Pakistani to oppose.
It (6-point programme) tooth and nall and to crush it before a band of un-thinking and credulous persons are misled into ceating disorder and disaster” Mr. Isphani said.
