6-point Plan Will Strengthen Pakistan,
Mujib Says

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman General Sceretary of the East Pakistan Awami League said in Dacca yesterday that the life and death of East Pakistán lay in the Six-point programme drawn up by his party reports PPA.
He was addressing the Dacca District Awami League Council session at the District Bar Library Hall here yesterday afternoon. Attended by 150 delegates from the district, the meeting was also addressed by Awami League leaders. Mr Zahiruddin, Khondkar Mushtaq.
Dealing with the Six-Point Programme Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said this was the dem and of the people and he found nothing wrong in it.
The Awami League leader categorically denied the charges that their plan aimed at disintegrating Pakistan. Instead, he declared, the six-point Programme envisaged by his party would strengthen the foundation of Pakistan.
Our aim was to build up a strong prosperous and happy Pakistan and to bring about a Socio-economic up liftment for its people he added.
PAKISTAN MOVEMENT
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said that they were closely associated with the Pakistan Movement and fought for its achievement. It is unthinkable for us to harm Pakistan. It was the practice in the past, Sheikh Mujib said to dub those assecessionists who voice any demand for East Pakistan. He said that the advocates of parity were also blamed in the past. Now the Government had accepted the realities of life. He was confident that the present regime would similarly realise it follies and accept the Six-Point Programme in course of time.
In conclusion, he said that his Party would lend its support to anyone who accepts this Six-Point Programme.
NO COMPROMISE
Mr. Zahiruddin General Secretary, declared there could be no compromise on the Six-point Programme and the people would be prepared to make any sacrifice for the aceeptance of the programme.
He also explained the Six-Point Programme and urged the Awami League workers to propagate for the programme.
