Mujib’s Proposal For Confederation Condemned
Karachi, Feb, 14(APP): Mr. Abdul Hye Choudhry, East Pakistan Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, yesterday condemned the recent statement by the Awami League Secretary General, Shaikh Mujibur Rahman, suggesting a confederation of East and West Pakistan saying “it is tantamount to sedition”.
In a statement here, he said that this could be the first step towards the disintegration of the country.
He said he believed that Shaikh Mujibur’s statement was in support of those who do not see eye to eye with creation of a sovereign state of Pakistan and motivated to undo it.
