Another case against Mujib

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was charged by Mr. M.A. Malek, Magistrate First Class Dacca, on Saturday under Section 7(3) of the Public Safety Ordinance 1958 for allegedly delivering a prejudicial speech in a public meeting at Outer Stadium in connection with “Julum Protirod Dibash” (Resist Oppression Day) on Septermber 29, 1964. Six witnesses including the two police officers, one Government reporter were examined in the case.
The date for cross-examination has been fixed on February 14. next.
M/s. Jahiruddin, Shah Azizur Rahman, Abul Hossain, Khondakar Mahbub Hossain and Tajuddin Ahmed defended the accused while Mr. Sohrab Bankhta, Assistant Public Prosecutor conducted the case.
