MUJIB’s TRIBUTE
TO ARMED FORCES
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, General Secretary of the East Pakistan Awami League, yesterday paid warm tributes to our Armed Forces for their gallantry in repulsing the Indian unprovoked aggression on Pakistan, reports APP.
Mr. Rahman told the Awami League workers at a meeting that they should be on “alert in the face of the tension kept alive by the feeble role of the United Nations in holding free and fair plebiscite in Kashmir” to solve the problem.
Giving a review of the present situation in the country in the context of Indian aggression, the Awami League leader said the entire nation gave a “unique response” in the efforts to repulse the aggression.
The meeting of the Narayanganj Awami League workers held at Narayanganj, also took decisions about the reorganisation of the Awami League union committees within Narayanganj Municipality.
