Mujib’s Appeal To
Per Employees And Government

Shiekh Mujibur Rahman, General Secretary of the East Pakistan Awami League has appealed to the railway workers to call off their “strike” and “help create an atmosphre conducive to free negotiation and amicable settlement”.
In an statement issued to the Press the Awami League leader also urged the Government to consider the 11-point demand of the railway workers and go for a “negotiated settlement of the dispute”.
Shiekh Mujibur Rahman also appealed to the government to release all arrested leaders and workers and withdraw all restrictions against them.
