Ata’s Statement Unfortunate, Says Mujib

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the general secretary of the East Pakistan Awami League, yesterday described Mr. Ataur Rahman Khan’s statement regarding the revival of the Awami League as “unfortunate”.
He said the statement could harm the organisation at a time when it was going to play a “significant role” in the “democratic struggle of the people.”
Mr. Ataur Rahman Khan, a former stalwart of the party, had described the revival of the party as “unfortunate” and against the interest of the democratic struggle of the people.
