Suhrawardy’s public meeting at
Mymensingh on Oct 23
MYMENSINGH, Oct 9: Mr. H.S. Suhrawady, a former Prime Minister of Pakistan, and Leader of the National Democatic Front, will arrive here on Oct 23 next on a day’s tour.
He will address a public meeting at the Circuit House maidan. Mr. Nurul Amin, ex-Chief Minister of East Pakistan, is expected to preside over the meeting.
Two other ex-Provincial Chief Ministers, Messrs Abu Hossain Sarkar and Ataur Rahman Khan and Muslim League leader, Shah Azizur Rahman, Awami League leader, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other leaders of the Democratic Front will also address the meeting.
Meanwhile, the local supporters of the National Democratic Front met at a meeting here yesterday and formed a reception committee to accord a warm welcome to Mr. H. S. Suhrawady and his party on their arrival. -APP
