Mujibur Rahman back in Dacca
DACCA, Oct. 1: Four members of the proposed National Democratic Front returned to Dacca this morning from Karachi by plane. They are Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, former Awami League General Secretary: Syed Abdus Sultan, MNA; Mr. Amjad Husain, MNA; and Begum Ruquaiya Anwar, MNA.
In West Pakistan they, accompanied by the former Prime Minister, Mr. H. S. Suhrawardy, visited Karachi, lahore, Lyallpur and Gujranwala and participated in the talks with the West Pakistan leaders.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will address a public meeting here this afternoon. The meeting has been called by some East Pakistani leaders including Mr. Nurul Amin, in protest against the recently reported disturbances in Mr. Suhrawardy’s meetings at Lahore, Lyallpur and Gujranwala. -PPA.
