Murders Continue
… Even if the centrally promulgated “normalcy” measures were not as limited and partially fraudulent as they are, the power of the police and razakars in villages and towns would undermine and vitiate them. In one area north of Dacca I visited recently, which cannot be identified for fear of giving a pointer to the information source, nine Hindus were said to have been killed in one village and twelve in another in unjustified executions by razakars in the previous seven days alone….
